After seeing Decision Made, my CIC Status now has a new line:

We sent you correspondence on May 5, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

Is this standard notification? I'm not sure what other information would be required, as we sent a complete package with photocopies of passports, 8 photos, medical, fees, etc.

Also, will this correspondence be sent to the Sponsor in Canada or the principal applicant in Brazil? It was processed by Ottawa VO.

I got that line regarding an email they sent me requesting additional documents right before my DM. Did they send you any emails or a passport request on that date? If not I honestly don't know what it could mean.

Hi Keok, thanks for your reply.

My spouse who is the principal applicant is Visa Exempt, and I already included photocopies of passports, so I don't think they would need to request that. Perhaps they'll just be sending me COPR directly? I'd love to find out.

I'm not sure whether she received any emails about it. I don't think so.

Was it mailed to you in the US or Canada?

I put my Canadian address on the application so the CoPR was mailed to that Canadian address.

Actually I'm a little surprised they sent our file to Ottawa, because when I say my spouse is visa exempt it's because she has a secondary passport from EU which she used to come visit, but when we applied outland, the primary documents/passport we used are from Brazil where she lives and not visa exempt. So I wonder what will happen in this situation where you have more than 1 passport... technically they should request her Brazilian passport , no?

My application status changed to Decision Made last Saturday. Yaay
It took just over 2 months since application filed. That's some real fast processing. And its not Ottawa VO, its New Delhi.

Yaa, it is really amazing. NDVO has started processing much faster for applicants of late 2015 and 2016. No one was expecting that.

i am barely a month away from you and i havent even received the SA yet.
but i think ND is due for something like that... was so slow before eh?

NDVO had waiting time of almost a year. Its good that they are processing faster now. Although there are many applicants from mid of 2015 who are still waiting.

I just called centre; since my case has past 41 days; i have not received a SA yet. still showing progress even on the call centre side.

I was told that the call centre just sent an inquiry and i have to wait by email..

We are on same timeline, I have not received SA yet either, however, the PA side of ecas changed on Saturday from "application received" to "In process". I was told by others on this forum who recieved DM already that this happened to them as well..they never officially recieved SA(althouth they obviously had it). Apparently ecas is very unreliable. Hope this is the case and that you have SA...thinking of calling myself!
