Hey all,

So I got AOR awhile back and can login in to ECAS and it says
We received your application to sponsor March 22, 2016.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on April
We started processing your application on April 15, 2016.
I havent heard anything about SA though so wondering if maybe I am one of the ones who is not going to get a notification?
Not that there is any doubt I won't get it but its just nice to know!
Hi Tater,

Hi brar, sounds like you have AOR1, SA, and AOR2 already, congratulations! All thats left is to wait for a decision, really. It takes some time. Keep on the look-out for any emails requesting additional documents. Good luck to you.

All the best and I hope you hear good news soon...that the file is transferred to your VO
God Bless

Dear <my name>,

This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2016/03/16 on behalf of the following member(s):

<spouse>

Than at the bottom CIC said they will notify me when they review my application.

I still can't access ECAS though. So I guess my AOR1 is May 4th which is way past the 39 days and still haven't got reviewed yet but any news is good news.

Received an email from Ottawa this morning: requesting documents.

Request to pay Right of Permanent Residence Fee and to obtain a police certificate for Canada - because I've been here for more than 6 months now, presumably. I had sent all the other police checks from other countries I'd lived.

Closer, closer. It's good you know 'something' is happening :)

I'm not sure what you mean by "outlands sheet". It sounds like you already sent your application in(which would be done using Guide 3000 and Guide 3999), so I assume you mean the 2016 Outland Spreadsheet on this forum site? To be honest I'm not really sure.. I'll be waiting to hear the answer too, lol.

Hmm that's really interesting about the Canada police check! I was told that I did not need to include one, even though I've been in 'visiting' in Canada since 2013. They already sent a request for my FBI check. I hope they don't add a new request for it and push back my processing time.

Who knows! I was on a working visa here 20 years ago (I was older than 18 years old obviously) but only here for just on 7 months. My application forms said I needed police checks for those countries I lived in over the last 10 years or over 18 yo - whichever was more recent. This meant I didn't include one police check for a country I lived in for 9 months which I was 24yo. They didn't ask for that. Only Canada. I was here for 8 months recently, perhaps that's why. But, as I say, who knows. There's not a lot of rhyme or reason with all this! :)

I just attached that 2016 Outland Spreadsheet to my signature below.

Seems it took me 49 days to get AOR1 when everyone else around my date took 20ish days. But looking at spreadsheet seems most haven't got SA yet.

I have a fourth line in my ECAS I haven't heard of others getting? http://m.imgur.com/qTrFBiv here is a screenshot.

They did send me an email on the 27th, I replied the next day with the requested documents. Does ECAS really take this long to update, so I should ignore this message? Or is this an indication that they maybe haven't received the files? I double checked my "sent" email and I attached the files according to the directions. Wondering if anyone else has gotten this message! Thanks.
