Everyone will receive SA as different times. I know of people who applied at the around the same time and received notice quite spread out from each other. Every case is different, every office is different. Don't worry about it!

Good luck to everyone!

Hello. Does anyone knows how a P.O. Box works? We have sent our application via Canada Post through expresspost but we didn't availed any insurance and signature. So now we are not sure whether it was really delivered on the date it has shown on the tracking number. Thanks!

Hi, We also send out application via Canada Post back in Feburary and they almost lost it but fortunatly they were able to deliever it after 15 buisness days and that is what it showed on tracking no that it was delvrd. Thats it. Sad but true. We waited to rcv an enail from cic for the AOR to get any confirmation.

So we learned the hard way but that is how my story has been so far.

Oh that's so sad. Actually, we availed the express post which is a 2 day delivery, but what happened is they delivered it after 6 days. 4 days delayed, so annoying but we can't do anything. Anyway, i am just wondering, we're you still able to get your AOR? Do you think it was really received on the date that it was delivered? Thank you.

We sent in our application on the 8th of March, it arrived the next day. We got an email last week 7th of April, saying it was received by CPC Mississauga on the 9th of March.
Yesterday 14th April, we received another email saying we got sponsorship approval and that it is being sent to CPC-Ottawa.

Thanks to everyone for your help so far, on getting us to this point.

Thanks. Canada Post deliver date was 10:44 AM on 2016/03/21. The CIC confirmation email that came today indicate it was 2016/03/21 as well. We are all on the same boat, hope you hear something soon.

I live less than 30 minutes from CIC Mississauga. It took them 2 days by expresspost to deliver. You can request a refund from Canada Post online. I received the refund a few weeks later it's very simple process.

So looks like no AOR for me this week. Hopefully next week.

Hi everyone. Thank you so much to those who gave me kind words of support.
It seems that your words put something in action because I just received SA an hour ago (came home to the email!).

Just when I was losing hope :D so happy

Hi everyone i applied for outland spousal application march 14 2016.....but i haven't received AOR1 and its been almost 30days and i have been reading anonymously on the this forum seeing people getting AOR1 in less than 36 days....i became so worried and i had to call cic after work this evening and i got my wife who is the sponsor to speak to them they asked her few personal questions and information....few mins later the call center representative said to my wife Congratulation your sponsorship application have been approved and he gave her application reference number....1st of all it feels like a film trick coz im wondering why didn't i get an email of AOR1 like every other person do here on this forum
2ndly is sponsorship approval same thing as SA people keep talking and i kept reading here on this forum
3rd why is it so quick to get SA i thought people said on this forum its few days or weeks after AOR1 Email that's when People get SA
4th the application reference number my wife was given by the cic call center representative worked when i logged am wondering to my self i thought people said on this forum the application reference number takes few days or weeks before an applicant can have access to the update of the application
5th when i logged in it said medical recieved and the date my application is received by cic 14th march but noting on the screen saying my wife sponsorship application is approved but however the call center representative said my wife sponsorship have been approved .....am just a little bit confused how all this works congratulation to everybody who have gotten AOR... :-[
