Hi guys.
My application was received on march 24 2016 and got 1st AOR email on april 06 2016 . AOR Email says that

Dear ×××××××
This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2016/03/24 on behalf of the following member(s):
×××××××××××××
When i check ecas status it does show anything . Please help. Thank u

Congrats! You got AOR1 super fast! I hope mine come soon . I am no expert, but I think it takes time for anything to show up in ecas once you receive AOR1. You should see something soon!

congrats, thats really fast. But I saw your old post since Oct 2015 that ur wife got PPR request. Is this for your spouse or other family member?

Our package was received on only the 29th March and I am having nightmares that my package keeps getting returned to me...this is going to be a very very long wait lol.

They received my package the same date as mine. keep in touch. dont worry, as long as you checked everything on the checklist and signed everything.. should be fine. this forum is here for us to encourage each others. you aren't alone.

congrats! Looks like you got approved to sponsor. From what I read on here it takes a couple days after e-mail that they sent your application to VO.

Oh really. Im so blessed. I was soo worried about they send the whole application back to me or if they need any additional documents. I guess they dont ask for any additional document? Right?

Congrats. That was fast. Applied on 17th so i should hear from them soon. Why don't you update the 2016 spreadsheet timeline. Will be helpful for everyone.

Did you call CIC? Also, I see that some people on this forum say to verify the Spam folder of your e-mail.

Just joined the AOR1 club yesterday!! We were out of town, and so didn't see the email until this morning! Application was received March 15th, AOR April 9th!

Checking your spam folder is a good tip. After they send you your AOR1 by e-mail do they send another one by mail?

Hi Amanda, I haven't get a chance to call CIC yet. But I will this week. And yes I am checking my email as well as my junk mail every now and then.

Checking your spam folder is a good tip. After they send you your AOR1 by e-mail do they send another one by mail?

I wouldn't expect another one by mail. I think the way they function is like a cell phone company. If you select you want an electronic bill you will get it in your e-mail only. (Not by the mail as well) Still, it wouldn't be a bad idea to send them both by e-mail and mail.

There's a member that did not receive AOR and after calling CIC they confirmed that the person was supposed to receive it.
