Yeah what I meant was you said you logged into ecas with your uci, but hadn't yet gotten your SA in the mail, nor an AOR. So I was wondering where you got the UCI from.

Application received and signed for today by I.IQRA in Mississauga! 8)

I've been monitoring these boards for months and noticed the turnaround seems to be getting faster...any reason for this or just luck? Hope it stays lucky!

Congratulations to those who have already received AOR and SA. My application was delivered on the 4th of April. Hopefully, I hear something soon as well.

CIC is super fast and hope that DM is finalized superfast as well.

done, but wasn't sure what is being asked under 'destination in Canada' column?

Destination in Canada means where are you going to be living once you get approved.

I noticed this as well and I think it's because the government is starting to focus on Family Class :D

http://www.news1130.com/2016/03/08/liberal-immigration-plan/

Our plan will improve processing times and backlogs will go down in our different immigration categories, including those for spouses, partners and children, and parents and grandparents.

McCallum says economic immigrants will continue to make up the majority of newcomers, but the overall numbers for those will be down, duw to emphasis on reuniting families.

Our application arrived in Mississauga on March 16th, so we really hope to get AOR in the next fortnight :D

I've heard this too, but do we have any evidence that the plan has started to be implemented at all besides faster times that might correlate to it?

I don't know if there will be any evidence other than watching how everyone is progressing.

I just read this...

We will also nearly double the budget for processing family class sponsorship. Wait times will come down – which currently average almost four years for parent and grandparent applications.

https://www.liberal.ca/realchange/reuniting-families/

I noticed the sponsorship approval has gone to 36 days instead of 60, so we can't complain there :D

What I was wondering is will the faster processing times still apply once our applications are sent to different visa offices (i.e. London)?

I thought 23 days was fast but I would think 9 days be the record for fastest aor.

I sent mines around March 15th been checking my mail everyday but they send aor by e-mail too? Just checked my junk e-mail nope nothing yet.

same concern. i wanna know if the new changes arent just to be implimented on future apps are not for those whose apps are already have been in process..... :'(
