Hello!
Does anyone know how long COPR takes to receive? Mine changed to decision made almost 2 weeks ago and I still haven't gotten a letter.

Thanks

Mine took a week after DM, but I'm in Canada already. You should probably be receiving it any day now. Where are you located? It might take a while to get to you in the mail depending on where you are. My COPR was issued the day I saw DM, so as long as they don't need to request your passport Ottawa is usually pretty speedy about issuing it. Mailing it is what takes a while.

i live in Canada and it got processed in Ottawa. They send all communication to my lawyer in Vancouver.
Starting to worry a bit now as everything I've read shows it takes about a week.

Are you the principal applicant or the sponsor? The COPR goes to the principal applicant. Have you contacted your lawyer? If the COPR had to go to your lawyer first and then s/he forwards it to the PA that would make sense why it's taking a while. I wouldn't worry yet. By a month if you still don't have it then I'd start to be concerned.

No problem! ;D I would definitely try contacting your lawyer to see if s/he has received it yet. Congratulations, by the way.

I've never seen them refuse someone before requesting additional proof of relationship/sending correspondence/interviewing, so I think it's safe to assume you've been approved ;).

No one will be able to give you any more information beyond what was already answered in your thread. I'm sorry you're having such a difficult application process from the start.

Just curious, who and what application to be processed in Ottawa. Is there possibility that PA from different country will be process in Ottawa? Thank you

principal applicant applications are processed in ottawa, usually Ottawa is used as the visa office for US applicants. yes, it's possible for applicants from countries other than the US to be processed there. CIC has been sending many there lately for quicker processing. It is not certain how these applications are chosen, and what countries will be processed there. applications are trickling in from a bunch of different visa offices.

also, if the applicant is already in canada on a work or study visa, they seem to get sent to ottawa too.
