Well, I'm in Ladner, BC now, but up until November I was in Bellingham.
Lol, I would have my husband bring my sister and I ketchup chips (we both love them) whenever he came to visit. He would buy vanilla coke at the target there and bring it back to Canada.
you know what? this weekend is the Victoria Day long weekend. Bellis Fair mall has AT PAR SALE.. that means you can use loonie and pay the exactly same amount as the greenback... i might come down.. haha.
I always wonder how VO gonna see my case. yours are pretty straight forward. with mine, i am a Chinese Canadian male and my wife is an Arab female. we are not only interracial; but also intercultural. we met at a party during my family trip back in China, while she was doing her Chinese language studies.
i just mail my wife an invitation to attend my wedding in Nanaimo . cuz we married in Tunis, Tunisia and my parents have never met her before. i really hope attending wedding is a good reason to grant a visitor visa.
good lord we love each others so much, my hood is quite redneck.. i dont even know how i gonna explain this to my wife. like my neighbour's redneck truck has a Confederate State battle flag.. i am not kidding; even in Canada. ahhh. lol..i really wanna see how my neighbour reacts; when he realizes I married to a Muslim lady.
Yeah, Bellingham is an interesting yet kind of strange place. I actually got married in Bellingham and when we were registering at the county clerk's office in the courthouse in Bellingham the couple in front of us was an American/Canadian couple too ;D. They said it was very common. Our wedding officiant was Canadian too and actually went to visit family in Canada before she came back to marry us.
Well, it's possible you could have seen me I guess. I have darker long red hair and wear glasses. I worked at the Fairhaven Haggen in the deli for a while from last August to November. We would get a lot of Canadian customers in the summer and there was a US border patrol officer who would come in and get food in his uniform.
