Hi there, thats good news, they emailed my Husband as well last Friday and told us that he's eligible to sponsor me, and my documents are in Manila VO. Anyways, What i did was I took my upfront Medical last October so they didn't ask for it, if you haven't have it yet, I'm pretty sure they're going to ask for request of it or if you have it already, I guess it's time for us to wait for either interview or Passport request

i think most of the applicants get decision made on SA side. but what is happening and what should we understand?? is not very far from PPR or should be waiting long time !!!!!!!
i m totally confused!!!

I guess the DM on the sponsor's side was all system generated to all those who have been proved eligible to sponsor. We are all hoping the CIC officers are back to work from summer vacation and we should expect to hear from them soon.

Yes, they did. But curiously they didn't ask for my stepdaughter's passport, who is also listed on the application. She will bring it anyways.

Hi door, I think I already answered the question you are asking, but i will try to put it all in one post. Im not comfortable to copy and paste the notice, but I am relating the important points.

It asked my wife to bring her passport.
It asked for proof of contact with me since the time we started communicating.
It asked to bring a copy of the email.

It stated that this interview is a selection interview, that a visa is not guaranteed for the applicant, and in bold "DO NOT MAKE PLANS TO MOVE TO CANADA"

It also outlines the consequences of not attending the interview.

I hope you understand and this satisfies your query.

COPR received in the mail today.

So, any Ottawa applicants that are left from the March batch (I think I was the last), FYI, it was almost a 12 week wait between 'decision made' and receiving the COPR documents.

We are still waiting for DM through the Ottawa office but we had document issues, just got SA a couple weeks ago. Thanks for letting us know how long you waited for the COPR documents. I've been waiting to see the DM but that is obviously not going to be the end of the waiting. Congratulations on getting COPR
