Hi Folks,
Just completed my written test yesterday at Scarborough Town Center, My online status still shows "In Progress" but I got a letter from local Test center on 10th Sept to attend test on 29th Sept. I cleared the test with 18/20 and documents verified. The oath will be in 2 months as per the schedule. Thanks Everyone and I have updated the sheet.

Just got the test invite to attend a citizenship test on Oct 19th at the Mississauga Office

Strangely, ecas did not update, but I received the notice in the mail today.

We started processing your application on June 12, 2015.
Your file was transferred to the office responsible for your area on June 18, 2015. The office responsible for your area will contact you.

I misspoke, what I meant was that my location is Mississauga.

Logically speaking, since Mississauga has its own office, that would be my local office.

Unfortunately, my timeline is not going to be of much use to you. I only have these 3 lines:

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on March 25, 2015.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on April 10, 2015.
3. We started processing your application on June 17, 2015.

My status changed to "Decision made" today. Probably Oath letter is on the way. Go Mississauga Go !!!

I am not receiving urgent processing. They received my application March 16 2015.

I have been invited to test Oct 14th 2015. What I don't want is waiting months after the test to attend oath ceremony.

How can I achieve this? I need citizenship two weeks of oath letter max.

Did you apply for urgent processing? They have very specific criteria s for what will qualify for Urgent processing. Pretty much a lot of us don't like the long wait times after Test for the Oath but the reality is all you can do is wait, the CallCenter is effectively useless and you have no way of figuring out why the file is held up. You could try to contact your MP but we have elections coming up so you are stuck on that avenue for a bit until a new MP for your area is elected.

My ecas is updated today with a test date of Oct. 16, 2015. I've checked my mail yesterday but nothing so I will do it everyday now. I am from Calgary by the way for family of four. My inprocess date is July 07 so it looks like almost 3 months to get a test date.
