anyone recall the info before about the color of the test invite? I read somewhere a lot of people got yellow test invite, we got ours in white, are there any distinct differences on test invite paper colors?

congrats hgn for test.

I got mine as Blue, But in total there were 4 colors, pink , white and green. My guess is it had nothing to do with test, bcoz they seated people randomly. But it had to do with CIC officer who interviews. Their were 4 CIC officer in room, and they assigned us numbers based on our color group. and each officer had files of people with that color group.

Hi All,

Congrats to everyone who is getting their letters.

I applied in march and received AOR on 28th march and then in process on June 26 but after that no progress and i am an applicant from Kingston.

So any thoughts. When i called to Citizenship Canada, the person said to me that we are not allowed to tell anything about what is online status and normal processing time is 2 yrs for applicant before Aprl 2015.

I really don't know where we stand and what should be the next step so it has been just 2 months for in process status.

Any thoughts ll be appreciated.

Thanks

@simp I'm on the same timeline with you.
We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on March 5, 2015.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 26, 2015.
We started processing your application on June 29, 2015.

applying from Toronto. May i ask if you travelled often outside of Canada for the last 4 years? I have travelled quite often, mostly work related to the US for 2-3 days at a time and i'm wondering if that's going to slow down the process for me. Any thoughts? I have prob about 20 travel history, some to Europe.

Family of 3
1 week travel outside of Canada (only for one family member)
more than 1400 physical presence in Canada when we applied

You're roughly in the same boat as us. Considering that many see that Ottawa, where we are from, is one of the slowest to process anything, took us 84 days from transfer to local office to test date.

Patience my friend...

Congratulations Millu!!
You got past a big one test and interview.
Awesome!

Hi Mazarin,

I have travelled quite often to USA and Uk for leisure trip.It must not make a big difference as all the stamps are in passport.
My worries are that they further classified pre Aprl and Post Aprl applicant.I don't know how ll it effect.

Recently discovered the community. I applied in March, and my location is Mississauga.

Looking through the spreadsheet, and it looks like the GTA offices are quite a bit slower than others.

I didn't get the LOT line (what is up with that?) but I'm assuming my file has been transferred as per the status descriptions on CIC.

Here is my timeline:

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on March 25, 2015.

We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on April 10, 2015.

We started processing your application on June 17, 2015.

I hate how opaque the CIC process is, but it feels better to be in this with you guys.

I'm going to add myself to the spreadsheet.

I heard that all Mississauga applications have been transferred for "unknown" reason to Scarborough office, and that could be the reason behind this unexpected delay, like you said, its good to know that all of us share the same situation at least!
