If the new law ( 4 years ) came on effect starting June 1st ( for example) and my file says received but not in-process yet , what will happen ? Will they apply new law or old law ?

They will apply the old law- AOR is confirmation of receipt and that's what they base the evaluation on.

Hi guys I know this thread is for March Applications, what about April?? Can someone refer me to the appropriate link. I have also noticed that most applicants are from out west, I live in the atlantic provinces, do you guys have an idea of the timeline over there (here).. Thanks ;D

I noted that the others just take 3-5 days from "In process" to "Transfer local". There is no update for mine 20 days already...Just "started processing your application"

Is that normal situation? I am worry about that...

Patiently waiting for the file to move to the "In Process" stage...

Hi Raincouver, Take a closer look at the sheet and you'll notice that you got your AOR 8 days only after your application was received, whereas some have their application received 77 days ago but are yet to get the AOR. Compared to most applicants you are doing pretty good. Don't worry.
