Status received on April 8th.

I used my UCI. Ecas tracker won't seem to work, though.

Yes it is. The only difference is that the completeness check is already performed and you have submitted all desired documents. Now they would review all documents in detail and will ask for additional documents / explanation etc if needed.

Now your application will not be returned unless you have a major issue.

So receiving this AOR is a step closer to citizenship.

Another question

My application was returned first time, and when i sent back again i just signed on the cover letter CIC sent saying i would like to submit my application again. But i didn't changes dates on any of other application pages.

I was reading in some other forum, that guy resigned and re-dated again while sending application back.

Did i do anything wrong.

Sorry for posting stupid questions, but i m getting impatient of not receiving AOR and thinking of all what if scenarios

Hello Friends,

Just wanted to share my timeline.

Application Sent : 15th March 2015
Received by Courier : 17th March 2015
Confirmation Email from Immigration : 9th April 2015

Is the confirmation in email is being called AOR .. ? Also I had a question, how should be preparing for Citizenship test. Is it a big deal that I need to start preparing now .?

Hey SP we have almost the same dates onbour applications. Mine finally got accepted on April 7th.
I hope we get some good news in a few months soon.

AOR stands for Acknowledgement of Receipt. Yes the one you received is AOR.

That was easy. Now we have to wait.
Does anybody knows if the waiting time is 6 months or 2 years? All dependes on each individual case I guess

Hey folks!! Logging in after almost 3 years ..... ..... Application sent for family on 05th March by Canada Post, received on 10th and AOR on 30th March. Hope 'Grasshopper' and 'Asaif' remember me!!
@ Grasshopper .... I still remember that you have created a sort of record when you received your PP with PR visa within 5 months of AOR ....... those were the days ...... ;D :

It depends on individual cases by my three friends got it in 6 months or less

I am from Saskatoon too. My application was received on 27-March, and got the AOR by email on 10-April-2015. Wish you all the best
