We received two emails today (for 3 applications, 2 adults and 1 minor) that stated: acknowledge receipt of your application. Is that the AOR?

I am just wondering because I thought getting the AOR is the first hurdle and when you received that, that means your application went through the first control and seems ok?

It seems so fast, i did nto expect thsi to happen so quick. Anyways, happy about this.

Wooow that's so good , they are very fast and working weekends too :)

I would like to day a Than you to all members who guided/helped me for "Language Proof Document" suggestions. Appreciated.

I have couple of queries to this powerhouse group of members,

Q1. I traveled on Feb14 2014 last year But upon leaving Canada there is no stamp of Exit on my passport, it has entry date of 16th Feb that was stamped at my destination. Now what should i enter on my out of Canada's date? will CRA has information when i exactly left? will this be a problem. What exactly should i tell on Online Residence Calculator?14 Feb or 16th Feb

Q2. I have Cancelled Passport in 2010, but i landed here in Canada in 2012 with Valid Passport, Should i still need to send Biological pages of Cancelled Passport (2010)

Thanks and hope to receive some suggestion

1- Always say the truth brother , you left 14.Feb.2014 so write it 14.Feb.2014
They don't care what time did you arrive your destination, places are different.

2. They ask about passports biological pages of the last 4 years 2015-4 = 2011

Anything before 2011 is not anyone business

You have to mention Feb 14 while you calculate on online tool

I think CIC will be interested recent 4 years so based on that if that falls into your recent four years then you need to submit that old passport copies(recent 4 years will be calculated based on your singed application date)

hope this helps
ONAP

Thanks and hope to receive some suggestion

Also some posts mention I-94 and CBSA records, are they required? Application clearly mentions that do not ask CBSA for records

no need

Congratulation WindsorFeb15Aspirant and Rakiura74. The wheel is spinning !

Thanks! I hope you all get the AOR too. I also could not believe they work weekends too.

I am wondering, is it still possible to get a RQ after getting the AOR?
What are the next steps, and what can we expect how long it will take from now?

Thanks for the info. I am fairly new in this forum.

You can receive a RQ any time between the AOR and the Oath letter. The next step is transferring your application to the local CIC office closest to you. That might take a couple of months, and usually happens shortly after the status changes to "In Process" in the eCAS system.

Congrats to everyone who got their AOR. I m sure the rest will get it in short time too.
My eCas got activated today. it says 'Received'. any idea how long it might take to be 'in process' now?

Hey guys,

I am curious how the Ecas would show, I am in the middle of sponsoring my wife (the file is in the visa office) so would there be a second line which shows my citizenship application status?

Thank you

Wow what a start of week, Mar applicants already started getting AORs.

Congrats to all who got it.
