When we immigrated, he did not need an English exam, as I was the primary applicant. He never took any formal education in English. Thats why.

Could you please put me in the spreadsheet, I can't do it cause I use tablet .
I sent application using canada post express March.4 received March.9

Why should I check email regularly ? What will happen when I receive the AOR ?

There is a huge difference between being logical and illogical. The difference between couriers are couple of dollars , you can spend that at Tim Horton's . There is something called feasibility studies, you calculate how much will you spend and how much gain will you have back ,but taking a flight to go there , spending hundreds of dollars plus wasting your precious time, that's a lose-lose situation ! ;D

Its not about couple of dollars or hundreds of dollars, its about Service being provided and how that service suffice ur needs

If Fedex says they deliver Next day and charge more than Canada Post which delivers in 3-4 days, its Logical

But if Canada Post says they will charge Priority(40$) and XPressPost(20$) but both delivers in exact same time its illogical.

Thats my point that if its Ripoff, u do care about money. I would still prefer to save those 20$ and spend at Tim Horton's, rather then giving to Canada Post.

Hi to All,
I have question to ask that My wife wants to apply for her mom to be here. She is expecting ... So anyone please guide me what are the requirements needs from us and the other person who is coming to live with us. I am waiting for your kindly response

I second that. I was told by Canada post that if it was any other location Priority would be faster than Xpresspost but not for NS.

Any idea why did they choose Sydney, NS, the most remote spot in Canada, to be the processing center for citizenship applications? From a logistics point of view that doesn't make any sense.

Good luck to your application

Today I received my application package back
it was returned cause I made a mistake in my son's application that needed to be corrected on the same form

it had a cover letter dates March 10 so it took 6 days to get back

My application and my wife's had a note saying that they are complete but I needed to fix my son's for them to be processed

they were all stamped with the date of March 2 Photograph's stapled to each application inside a little bag

the perforated all the applications on the same spot (guess it was so I couldn't change any form)

made the changes and mailed them back thistle express post that takes 1 business day more and costs half

It's unfortunate that your application was returned but on the plus side it was a quick return and they didn't enforce the new rules, i.e. 4/6 years, yet.

Do you mind sharing with us the mistake on your child's application?

The mistake was that I checked the wrong box in one of tge questions and it needed a explanation

Basically i said that my 8 year old boy had been in prison in the last 4 years :-(
