As long as your personal information is there as well as your client ID and doc. Number, you are good. No worries about the ink since they have the original in your file. No need to ask for a copy.
Cheers,

Hey pelipeli,

Good to note that you've obviously sorted your problems. Good luck on your application.

Hi Aspat! Thank you! Yes, I had my ID's changed twice to finally get to the name I wanted :)
Middle name doesn't still match my Philippine passport but I explained to them why.
Here's to hoping that it won't be an issue! :)

App received today, March 5 2015, spreadsheet updated.

Does anyone else who sent through Canada Post Priority not get a delivery signature? Coz I didn't.

My package also took 3 days to get there, so I don't know what the difference between Priority and Xpresspost other than Priority being much more expensive. I thought Priority will get there overnight or 2 days at most.

Canada Post Priority is 1 day + 2 business days
Canada Post Xpresspost is 1 day + 3 business days

The 1 day is added because all packages are picked up at 5pm. Irregardless if you sent it in at 9am or 459pm, hence the 1 day.

Did you pay for the signature to be added? I believe its $.150, it does not come with Xpresspost by default, only tracking is included.

Signature will appear on Canadapost website a little later. Check again today evening.

I sent via Priority so the signature option is already included w/o additional cost.
Also, I checked the delivery standards from Calgary and Halifax (nearest processing facility to B1P which is a non-major urban centre FSA) and it is the same (3 days) whether it is Priority or Xpresspost.
This is the link: http://www.canadapost.ca/tools/pg/manual/PGservstds-e.pdf
Had I known that there would be no difference in delivery times, I should have used Xpresspost instead which is cheaper.

sorry, in my last note, the signature is $1.50, not $.150, nothing in Canada Post is cheap :P

anyway, we thought of using Purolator, but my wife said if you are saving 1-2 days and paying 60% more for a process that takes literally months to years, is the 1-2 days really worth it vs the dollar value?

Yeah I know, 1-2 days isn't really a big deal (except maybe for those who got caught in between the cut-off of fee increase)
I just thought that I could have saved at least $10 (this could have paid for my lunch today LOL) if there is no difference in the delivery time anyway.
I mean- just the principle of it, why would you pay more for the same level of service?

I was thinking priority will be Next-Day delivery, so wanted to go with that

But post office lady said its waste of money sending by Priority, bcoz basically they take almost same time(2-3 business days). Better to go with Xpresspost. So I took her advice.

But i still don't get it, if they take same time then why 2 categories and 2 different pricing

yeah, it kindda useless to send by priority especially so close the weekened.

If it was super urgent, I would go by other courier providers (eg UPS, Fedex, Purolator etc)

I wish my PO lady was just as helpful. I thought it was next day too. then when the tracking became active it said 3 days so yeah I was disappointed.

What is surprising though, is that some people from Montreal in this forum, used Xpresspost and was delivered after 1-2 days. Ottawa and Montreal are less than 2 hours apart. Ottawa packages arrive in 3 business days + 1.
