Hey geedee! congratulations. Did you get an ecase update before hard copy of invite letter? I am also a March applicant from brampton and my processing started 28-Aug-2015.

Received test invite for Nov 26 at 7.45 AM - location 3085 Glen Erin Dr in Mississauga.
Applied from Mississauga - family of 4 - applied March 3rd.
I never received the ' transferred to local office' update on ecas, it directly went to test invite line - probably a day after the letter was sent to me on Nov 9th, I received on Nov 12th.

Umxian, though I am also a March applicant from Brampton, still did not get test invite. Only thing we need is patience.

anyone has done test before can brief of type of test , if need to write a narrative or only multiple choices answers

Your Local Office will have various test sessions through out the day one test session can be at 10 a.m. next one at 3 p.m. and another at 5 p.m. depends on office's capacity and how many they can fit into a room etc. You are given half an hour to compete 20 questions, you need to get 15 correct in order to pass. After you complete the test you will be asked to go to an open room and wait, once all poeple have completed test, Citizenship Officers will come carrying files and will call people to come up to their desk where you will be interviewed.

I got my Ecas updated today with a test date (Applied in Mississauga), he's my timeline:

1- We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on March 31, 2015.
2- We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on April 14, 2015.
3- We started processing your application on July 13, 2015.
4- We sent you a notice on November 12, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on December 1, 2015 at 7:45 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Any advice regarding the test and Practice Citizenship Test questions are welcomed , i'll be writing my test at: 3085 A Glen Erin Drive ,
Mississauga, Ontario
