March 2015 Citizenship Applicants

My wife got something called "request for supplementary evidence" in the mail today, i.e., an RQ. They asked for the US entry/exit records, university transcripts, records of employment or pay stubs, and tax assessment notices (including T4 slips). Not sure about the reason. Our case is straight forward. Solid 4 years of postgraduate studies and university jobs. Full school records for ourselves and the kids. We already included the transcripts and the employment letters with the application and provided them with a copy of the I94 records during the interview. Let's hope this RQ doesn't delay the application for years.

Hi Asaif, has your ecas ever changed to Decision Made from In Process during the time of test and your wife receiving a request for 'supplementary evidence'?

Nice! I imagine your's was an 'urgent processing' application? Its the only way I can explain the incredible turn around time for taking the test to oath taking day... Could you shed some light?

Nope. It's regular processing. If you look at the other Windsor applicants, most of the non-routine applications are processed in 7-8 months timeframe.

No, always been and still "in process". The ecas system doesn't even show that a letter has been sent to us !

Hmmm interesting. We took the test on Sept 17, status on ecas changed to Decision Made from In Process...was greatly surprised.

So we do assume that asaif that CIC were still investigating your wife's case, hence the ecas was not reflecting to Decision Made and stayed In Process all this time?

Yes, I think it doesn't change to DM until they are 100% sure that all the requirements are fulfilled.

When they will send AOR after received the citizenship application. Any idea please. They have received mine in September 8th 2015.
