I have a quick question, is there a way that you can further know more about what decision has been made on ur file as well as the date.. I am saying this because in the xsl sheet a person in fredericton says that they have their oath on the 21 Sept but there are no oath dates in the actual website.. Please help !!!

Thank you

Does your fingerprint letter outline the reason why fingerprints were requested?

nope.. nothing.. just says get it done in 30 days else they will abandon the application.. anyways we got it done yesterday

Normally during the federal election, the process would be quicker. But seems it didn't happen so far for this time.

My eCas status changed to "Decision made" today, but it doesn't say when is the oath date. is that normal?

I can't find your name in the March tracker sheet. What is your timeline?

Congrats on getting DM. Depending on where your local office is your status might do to DM but the Oath email or update can take longer, you can check this thread where people are discussing same situation.

amk when you call CIC and identify yourself, they ask you some questions to confirm your identity. After confirming your identity they pull up your file online and see it. I had sent additional docs and a fax later to expedite my process and they could see all the docs online in my file. So when they say your file is in process, rest assured they mean it and nothing to worry. Call them up again and reconfirm for your consolation to make sure that they do see they are in receipt of your application. All the best.

Hi andrew7007. I called them. They are in receipt of application. They could not tell of its being in process. May be they have the knowledge of only whatever their screen shows and it is the same as ecas screen is.

amk as per new processing times, a normal application will be processed within 1 year of date of receipt. CIC web site states that. So no worries.

Edmontonians check your ecas. Mine was updated today and I got a test invite for August 31. Waiting for the invite in mail.

It would be around 3 to 6 months on an average. Please check the following link to estimate:

I was also wondering: I lost my foreign passport and my PR card ( which I informed then in a signed/typed letter.) but the invite letter is asking me to bring originals which I stated I didn't have. Will I be ok?
