Personally I prefer aisle seat so that I don't feel like I'm bothering someone everything I need to go to the toilet. And since she is pregnant and may need to go more often, it may be better for her to sit aisle seat. Another note; you can google the seat diagram of all the major airplane types and find out which seat gives more leg room, etc.

Yes, it is imperative that she has one of those seats with no one in front of her. Normally used for those with babies. But we do t want anyone forcing her to get up when ever they have to go to bathroom. She is pretty conscious about anyone hitting her belly by mistake. :P

Ecas changed to In process. Passport is now in Singapore. Waiting for last stage begins.

May I ask how you knew it was a procedural fairness letter? Does the letter have a heading or something that says that on it? I ask as when we got our PPR the letter asked for an update on our plans to settle in Canada, further proof, etc. Nowhere did it say "procedural fairness" though, and I'm wondering if they ask for the same information regardless, but there are differing levels of scrutiny?

As it was, I sent a job offer letter and proof of re-starting professional licenses with the original app and for the PPR letter I sent the same again, along with a copy of a mortgage for the house we bought. I was little surprised that the job offer letter and licenses activations wasn't adequate for the original app.
Yes, the first sentence in the letter said 'This procedural fairness letter refers to your application for ..." My husband also has a job offer letter with the original app but that obviously also is not enough and the visa officer asked for credible evidence we have done to severe our ties to our country and plans for establishment in Canada. We provided the agreement of the sale of our house few months ago, terminating of insurance policies, opening of HSBC account in Canada and a lot more. I hope the VO is satisfy with what we have provided and that COPR is granted. Fingers crossed and anxiously waiting for the mail.

Time from Visa Issuance to Landing?

Anyone have any idea how long the applicant has to land after the PR visa is issued? Is it a standard fixed amount of time, or does it vary from office to office?

It's usually one year after the medical, but sometimes they extend it a month or two to allow the applicant to get their affairs in order and buy their ticket at a less insane price before they go.
If an addition medical has been done (after the first expires) it's based on the passport I think, but I don't quite understand that part.
I'm sure someone else will have a clearer answer for you!

it goes by your medical... we did our medical march 14th 2014 we have till march 18th 2015 to land. not sure how it all works if you have to redo the medical tho.

Passport requested today....Please update spreadsheet.
