My wife received her COPR today FedEx, from our lawyer. CIC sent it there by instead of directly to her US address. We are hoping for her to land sometime in September. Can someone update the spreadsheet pls!

Great !!!! Now the painstaking wait starts for getting an update from CIC and moving the application from 'in process' to 'Decision Made'.

Hello all!

After submitting my application this march, AOR and File transfer atlast couple of days ago Singapore asked for Medical exam and they sent us the IMM 1017 form. Does this mean our application is at the last stage? And Doctor said he would send the report to Singapore himself does the ecas website update when the Singapore office receives the medical?

Please someone reply

Welcome bhoot! I think you have a little wait ahead still. I would say around October you will begin the end stages.

While it is good news they are working on your file, it could still be in the preliminary stages. Some (lucky) members who applied in nov and dec are just getting their ecas updated to in-process, which basically means 2-3 months more before visa stamp.

i would assume your application would be cancelled due to the sad fact you no longer have a spouse to sponsor you as a PR. my guess is if you still want to go to canada, you will need to find another way to apply for status. sorry for your loss.

thanks everyone, hopefully in process and DM soon :D

wow that's soo bad. Sorry for your lost , hopefully they grant visitors visa under humanterian reason to enable you attend the funeral. . Or will you still like to immigrate regardless ? If yes you will have to apply through other means. Eg skilled worker
