guys I have few things to ask and my apology if I am in the wrong group but hopefully someone will know more.

Here is the situation. I have been working for 10 months now and my employer requested LMO. Today LMO got rejected from the officer and now my company wants to reapply.

So I have 2 questions:

1) Since my working holiday visa expires in middle of October (actually in 3 weeks), will I be able to work under some conditions if they don't send the new LMO application by the time my visa expires?

2) They have also told me they will request for me an extension of work permit which will give us 55 days of time. Since in November I have right to apply for my PR under CEC, I wanted to ask you guys, is it ok to pretty much use that period while you are waiting for them to respond to apply for the PR? Today I chatted with CIC call center and the guy mentioned to me he wouldn't suggest that as I am pretty much using that implied status to get time to apply for PR so he has seen people getting rejected because of it.

What are your experiences on these 2 and can someone please share some good advices

did medical upfront on Sep 10th.

Just received medical request today (Sep 18) which means medical result may still not being received as of now.

Okay 1st thing.. I was in the same situation in 2012.. My Advice is to apply Work Permit without LMO as far as I know working holiday ppl can get Work permit extended another 6 months (total 1.5 years). I did apply for extension just before my 1 year work permit expired.. on 1st application i got rejection after 1.5 months.. but than my Student Exchange org said apply agin with proper explanation .. Which I did and fortunately they dint reply till next 4.5 month.. And they send me new work permit just before it was about to expire.. That means I was in implied status for almost 6 months (How every I didn't stay in Canada for that long after applying for 2nd time I left for my home country in around 2 weeks).. I did apply for my PR application based on 1 year work permit and also with implied status .. So basically you can apply for PR using that implied status for sure because you will pay taxes on that income and that goes as valid work. You can consult any lawyer for this don't ask CIC.. Hire a good lawyer if you really want to get PR.. He will give you peace of mind.. Make sure you apply before express entry started if you want to put your self in this process.. I am not sure about Express Entry what will happen..

If you got Medical means you are half way through.. Did you provide enough docs to support your future stay out of Quebec ..

I got my Medical request yesterday!! Whoohoo....I hope that I can get my medical done early next week.

I guess, only MR email received. some of my friends who already got PR (from last year) got MR and RPRF request on the same day.

I have send my upfront MR details by 22 sep, waiting for ECAS update.

True, my friends as well. They had medicals and RPRF request email on same day....
I guess, based on posts in march 2014 group its only medical request that has been sent out...
