I think you meant which one is efficient and Faster .

My take would be goto Kitchener "Daniel Garrett" is the doc , all Tests in one building , Cheap comparatively , Uploads result in 3 days .

Got medical request today for me and my spouse.

Application received on Mar 11, 2014, and AOR received on March 28, 2014.


We have done upfront medical (from e-medical enabled doctor) by June and it is not yet updated in ECAS. Should I send soft copies of upfront medical by email / do the fresh new medical ?

Congrats! No, there is no need to do medical again as it is valid for one year. Just email CIC your receipt of upfront medical along with UMI number and you should be fine....

yes some people received the medical request even if they did it upfront. It probably depends on the VO if he noticed it or not.

Received AOR on Apr 13, when am I expecting medical request? The waiting is killing me. Is it a good or bad sign that I didnt hear anything from CIC yet? I fear rejection

many FEB applicants(incl. me) are also waiting and can understand your concern but that's all we can do ...waiting to hear from CIC

It feels like all the MR suddenly stopped or slowed down..
So whats after Medical?

Medical > RPRF > Photo/Bio data > Passport Request > CoPR?

Hi, I'm a long time reader but first time poster.
First of all, I wish all of us the best of luck during this long process!
Second, I have a couple of questions for you.

But first, this is my timeline:

Application Received: March 10, 2014.
AOR: March 31, 2014.
Police Certificate Request: September 22, 2014.
Medicals Request: September 23, 2014.

My question is, what does it mean that I was asked for the police certificate and the medical exams for my wife and I almost at the same time? Does it mean that they are somehow expediting the process? Is this normal?
