Had my Citizenship Test and Interview today.
Passed with 20/20 score.
Oath invite handed for 07-AUG-2014

My timeline now looks like...

MAR-17-2014 => Application Received
APR-29-2014 => Processing Started
MAY-20-2014 => AOR in mail
JUN-05-2014 => Received Line disappeared
JUL-29-2014 => Test/Interview (Mississauga)
AUG-07-2014 => Oath Scheduled

Test was okay, reading of Discover Canada a few times helps.
Interview was mostly about documents and absences verification.
The citizenship officer matches the absences really very thoroughly, day trips can create problem if stamps are inconsistent.
I had many documents to support the day trips, like CBSA report, Custom duty payment receipts etc, and it helped establishing my day trips clearly.
Other general info asked about job, salary etc.
Overall it was a good discussion and it ended with officer handing out the conditional oath letter to me.

Best of luck to my fellow posters.
Thanks to all.

Cheers!!!

My spouse timeline :

Received :12th March
Test Date & RQ issues:29th July

Today my spouse had a test date and interview. As there were frequent travel before coming to canada they wanted to validate the entry/exit log after coming into canada if we visited those countries again.

Officer has issued a RQ for entry/exit stamp details from NZ & USA and to respond back within 45 days. Can you please help us how to obtain the entry/exit for NZ & USA embassy ?

Your help will be highly appreciated.

Yesterday, I was informed by CIC agent, that a letter requesting info was mailed .

Today, My received line is gone.

102 days travel.
4 years full employment with a reputable company.
1 years study in Canada during employment.

Crossing my fingers, no RQ please. :o :o :o :o

time line :
received march 31
in process may 12
AOR May 28

Stupid me, I requested a truncated name on the citizen form (question 3B); because my surname has two parts, and is too long.
Now CIC is giving me two options ; 1- I change first the name on Hearth card or Driving licence, 2- I keep the long name.
My file is still is Sydney.

Hello Folks:

Just got off the phone from CIC call center agent:

My file has been transferred from Sydney to local office in Scarborough on July 28th.

She also said, CIC officer has put a note on my file as "Routine Application."

She said it is in transit and the file hasn't reached Scarborough yet.

Folks, any idea how long it is taking for transit to reach local office ?

When can I expect Test Date ?

:-X

It takes about 4 weeks for the physical delivery of the application to GTA from sydney.
Check the actual date that they sent so you know when you can expect at local office.

Once you know the exact mailed date, add about 4 weeks for transit and few days for local office processing to see ecas update on your test date. Good luck!
