From Scarborough and Yes on Sunday the line disappeared and got RQ the next day. Hard luck.

The RQ was sent from Sydney but they put the address of your local office so as you forward your documents/answer to them and not to Sydney. By the time your file is transferred to local office your RQ will reach them as well.

I did not call them. Do you think I can get hold off someone in the local office. Is it allowed?
The RQ document is std and does not take into consideration of people submitting additional document with initial application. Lets see how it goes. Phone company is making a killing out of this. $15 for statements prior to 18 months. Same with banks.

chikloo thanks again to reply. an advice phone bills are not mandatory nor it is solid proof of presence in canada. focus on important documents like bank statement job letter tax assessment or any property purchase and any mortgage papers even car and home insurance are solid proof of stay. also OHIP health card visits.

chikloo, I would suggest to call CIC and ask them why you should do double work. it is just a nonsense.

Called CIC call center has no idea why RQ was sent. The rep mentioned that he cannot see the reason for RQ. I have 45 business days.

Except for the insurance. I have emailed everything that you have mentioned. That is the reason Im trying to get phone usage bills to prove physical presence.

Don't worry Chikloo you will be good. Nowadays RQ are processed fast. I hope you get your citizenship before end of this year (amen). After RQ submission keep watch on your ecase update and mails. Sometimes they call to verify some info.

Called CIC this week. They said that my application is in transit to Mississauga. No other info.

called CIC on 21 July. she told, background check still ongoing. File was still in Sydney then. and no one on earth knows what does it really means when the receiving line gets vanished.

Please let me know what else I can provide as RQ proof.

Also during my unemployment time. I was living with my friends (switched many addresses) to avoid overstaying welcome. How can I provide supporting documents during this time (rent, internet etc). Also there is a question on how you supported yourself during this time. I got money from friends and family which I repaid them later.
