hi everyone i am a new member to this forum...I am an AINP applicant. This is where I am:

We received your application for permanent residence on March 31, 2014.

We started processing your application on October 1, 2014.

Medical results have been received.

I got the request to pay rprf fee on 30 july 2014 which i had paid ....

called 1-800-242-2100 few days before and those guys say the application is still in CIO Sydney which sucks...coz i think the application will be processed by Ottawa..'


my buddy in waterloo, ON had applied for CEC back in november 2013 and he got his PR begining JAnuary 2015....now I feel like AINP is way slower than CEC....

As far as security (you guys are talking about), my security was doe by CSIS back in 2011 which was my job requirement to work for a Nuclear Power Plant....I hate this wait, they took 1000$+ and still they r taking forever

What delay? CIC seems to be ahead of the game. They have processed applications way ahead of time. They just can't do PPR since that would mess up the landing flow. Kinda like the baby boom.
If you're a March-April applicant and wonder why you don't have PPR yet, then you have the wrong idea of time lines.

No delays. Actually, they're right on time.

Most early January applicants got PPR. Late January and early Feb to come. March or April applicants won't happen this or next month.

I am an April applicant and I get DM on Monday, and I am not the only one.

That's great. Congrats. Of course, there's always exceptions. Wondering when you'll get PPR. Don't forget to post that.

i think you will be next for sure since from my observation the application filed date matters more than IP date. it is not coincident that you and Vicky have the same date filed and i believe you two are in the same small batch. CIC probably just dont update the status that fast. my application is file on 31 of March and i see other ppl have the same date with me on this thread. so my theory is that even in the same March batch, we are in different small batches dealt by different officers. I also have the impression that they update the status over night, so please check every morning.
