Dear All,

I received nomination letter few days back and about to send application to CIO.

Does PNP nominee required to include IELTS with application package to CIO?

My IELTS meanwhile expired. However, as documents check list for PNP nominee, IELTS required for NOC C& D, mine is NOC B. Someone tell that valid IELTS should be attached with application package to CIO otherwise they may return back the application as incomplete.

Really confused what to do. Taking further IELTS will takes more time.

What is your suggestion? What is the experiences who already send application to CIO? Please help.

I don't think you should attach yout IELTS. IELTS was a prerequisite for the PNP. You are nominated from the province, aren't you? Also, your NOC is B, so I don't see any reason to attach the IELTS.
Of course, that's just my opinion, but I am not an immigrant consultant!

Did you include a copy with application to CIO?

Actually, in my case IELTS wasn't necessary, so I didn't attach anything.
I've applied under BC PNP with a Job Offer and NOC 2174.

Again, I don't know exactly the differences between AINP and BCPNP, but I am assuming there are not so much discrepancy between these programs.

Can you explain me the difference between Criminality and Security? Which one is the one related to the Criminal Record Check provided? How they work?
Thanks!!!

Well heres my story...

I got told by someone who helps immigrants with their applications that if I applied for PR i wouldn't need to extend my work permit. so i didn't, it expired in Oct 31 and i kept working until yesterday. I get a phone call from this same person saying she messed up and gave me wrong info and in fact i CANNOT keep working and shouldve applied for a work permit extension before my previous permit expired.

awesome! SO now I have applied for a visitors visa/restoration of status so i can stay in the country, however i can no longer work. Hoping it doesnt get denied otherwise i have to leave canada until my PR comes through!

My application received: march 17
RPRF paid: May 16
processing started: oct 2nd.
medical results received.

I am PRAYING! that is comes through fast coz i dont know how im supposed to survive with no income!

moral of the story! always call CIC for questions. Never trust anyone else with your application..

OMG!!!
How can you believe on random stuff people say...
Anyways whatever happened can't be changed... I would suggest you also attach a letter of explanation in which you explain your entire situation which looks like a genuine mistake and its not done intentionally. Try to call CIC agent again and ask them if you can add that now in your application you already sent.
Good Luck Dear...

Good Luck Dear...

This wasn't a random person IT was someone who works for multicultural centre with immigrants.. I trusted they knew what they were talking about.

I'm truly sorry to hear that. This is a reminder for everyone to be a bit more skeptical when people offer information no matter how qualified they might seem. Praying for a better resolution for ya.
