hey, I come to know that our files (i'm assuming most of March applicants and some Feb )are still at CIO-Sydney even after DM. so looks like they processed our application.

I'm not sure whether they can send Passport request or they will have to transfer the files to Ottawa for passport/VISA step of our application.

Any thoughts guys?

I am not sure but maybe they are just transferring those files to Ottawa for PPR processing......that's why it takes bit more time?

April applicants files are in Ottawa thats why they are receiving PPR so fast.

I am not sure, but according to the process our files should have been transferred to Ottawa straight after DM, how do you come to know about your file status? Just asking or more information,

once you call CIC, you can ask where your file is, that's where I come to know its in Sydney and still open (don't know how that is even when we received DM?).

May be because they can't tell any info on file.

it seems like it is pretty much true that they fked up hard somehow from IP last year for Feb and March applicant.

it looks like they are back on track from April applicant

Okay I just called them and confirmed that my application is approved. 8)and I asked if I can know approximate time when an officer will contact me regarding this decision (a long word for PPR ) and the agent said they never know since it depends on the officer whoever is working on. Another waiting game........... and one more waiting for COPR then we are done my friends. Hope for best for everyone!!

When you says "your application is approved", what does that mean? Is it CIC has approved your PR ?

that just means the decision is positive XD AND it's finished of course, all we have to do is finalizing......

March 14th applicant and mine isn't even in process yet what is going on !!
