Hi everyone,

Received my CoPR in the mail yesterday!! I went straight to the border (15 minutes away) and landed without problems. Went into the USA, turned around and re-entered Canada. After a few signatures, the process was finished. SO HAPPY!

Such a huge relief.. and also bitter sweet. The reality of leaving family behind (Parents, sibblings etc) to continue life in Canada hit me hard today.

Thank you to EVERYONE on the forum for helping me through this entire process. From application questions & concerns, timelines and support. Everyone has been a huge help.

I wish everyone good luck and hope that your dream also comes true. I will stay around and help those with advice and chip in where I can to help.

From the Google Drive spreadsheet, people usually got the passport requested email before the status being changed to "Decision made" online. But for me, my status has been changed to "Decision made" two days ago, but I still haven't received an email about sending my passport. Should I worry about this?

See - you overtook me in the end. I will leave the country a few times over the next couple of weeks but won't land until in two months - in order not to run into problems with travel while waiting for the PR card.

We completed our medicals and received copies of filled medical form from Dr. Lyndon Mascarenhas. Should I scan and send them to CIC on any particular ID rightaway? Could someone senior plz help with that ID??? Thanks in advance.

My sincere thanks to all the members of the forum. It has been a pleasent journey. Took almost 10 months from sending the application and receiving my passport stamped back.

Just over 10 months so far, so glad it's all moving finally.
