How long does it normally take for the medicals to show up on your status with CIC once you've done them? I did emedicals a week ago and haven't seen it change.

It took almost 5 weeks for my status to update. Not a surprise with the holidays in between.

Hi Everyone

Is there anyone in the group, which is march applicant, submitted application from Canada and waiting for Medical Request. ?

Do anyone know why it might taking time??

I am sure there must still be people waiting. I am done now but only received the request Nov 29. Zero movement on the file before that. With the holidays in between - don't worry too much, it'll arrive eventually. Did you submit all other documents upfront?

Good news to share today :-)

Received an email from the lawyer with my CPR in pdf and asking where they should courier the originals to.
About 10 months processing time - I call that very efficient.

Thank you so much everyone on this board who has helped me with my questions.
Good luck to everyone still waiting, hope it goes quick enough.

got my medicals.. :P

they sent RPRF and biodata request yesterday and again today..i already paid my Rprf yesterday..should i ignore it or resend it again

Mine took 7-8 days. I assume the doctors office submited them on 23rd Dec and i got passport request on 2 Jan .

And finally i did my landing today at peace bridge. took around 30 mins for the entire processes.

Everything is going so fast. Just received passport request today. My medical was done on Jan. 08, 2014 and e-cas status was updated on jan. 11 saying medical results received and jan. 15 passport request.

Hi Seniors,

Need some advise.... I received my passport request yesterday.. The first part of the letter says buy 2 canadapost xpresspost prepaid envelopes... & next part says... Put self address envelope in the the other envelope & send... My question is if I want to send my passport by purolator shall I buy 1 envelope or 2... I know its the most stupid thing to ask on this forum but to be honest I don't trust Canada post.... I have sent a a few courier earlier as well thru purolator & they were delivered dot on next date.... Please advise shall I put one envelope or 2 in the package??????

Thanks

I believe CIC will only ship your passport back to you via Canada Post. Maybe you can include xpresspost prepaid return envelope with your Purolator envelope or else CIC will send your passport back via regular mail. So you just need 1 return envelope from Canada Post to include with you package that will be sent via Purolator.

Congrats! :) It's good to see that the process could be even 10 months or less. ;)
