Congrats to you guys that have recieved MR's....hoping mine arrives soon.

Have a couple of questions if anyone can offer some answers for me.

1 - My application is being processed in Sydney Australia, does offshore processing have
any impact on processing times?

As mentioned, it will be processed in Ottawa.

2 - I was in canada for 4 years, i accidentally worked 10 days past my whp visa expiary date,
thought it ended on the 15th may, but atually ended on the 5th may, will this have a negative impact
on my pr app?

If your reference letter mentions this date, then it will likely cause problems. Part of the conditions of CEC are that you maintained legal status during your periods of employment/stay.

3 - I left canada on 2 june, so was actually in the country almost 30 days past my visa expiry date.
As i am from a visa exempt country (australia)my understanding was i automatically went onto a visitor
visa, but as ive started to research since being home i think i may have got that wrong and appears i should
have applied online for a visitor visa.

If they find out, it could. It depends how thoroughly they look. You were here illegally.

Does anyone know the rules around this and also what impact it may have on my pr app?

Just starting to get a little nervous.... :(

It's possibly it will all work out fine, but it's also possible you could encounter problems. I hope it works out for you.

Congrats! Biodata and RPRF requests are sometimes coupled with PPR in a single email or a couple of emails sent very close to each other. My suggestion to you would be to get your medicals done and patiently wait for the next steps. You are almost there my friend...

Guys
Many many congrats to all who have received MRs+biodata requests and also those who successfully landed.

I am still waiting for Biodatat+RPRF (+PPR) :(
"Medicals received" status in ECAS since 25th Nov. GCMS received ystdy showing medicals passed. I am thinking of contacting CIC.
Is there anything I could do other than being patient (:D )

Received medical request today! My ecas shows in process

If i were you, i would send biodata and rprf with out waiting for CIC

I am going a little insane here because I haven't heard anything other then app received.. its very very frustrating and I wish cic was more transparent.

Totally agree. They are way too slow.

Really?
The processing time is 13 months for 80% of applications.
You are within timeframe so just sit back and wait.
