Hello All,

I will be sending out my application package on March 3rd 2013.

I have a quick question on "IMM 5562 - Supplementary Information - Your Travels"

I am Canadian resident now, and my country of origin is an Asian Country. I have recently visited my country of origin for couple of weeks and came backt to country of residence. I want to know should I be entering this information in this form?

Or should I be entering "Did not travel"?

I believe you can write "Did Not Travel" if you only traveled to your home country, then this doesn't count.

I have copy and pasted the information below from the CEC application guide


Question 2a

List all trips you have taken outside your country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since your 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc.

If you did not travel outside your country during this period, check “did not travel”.

Hi All,
I am sending my package out today. Two questions -

2 self addressed mailing labels - Both in my case are in English since my country of residence is currently Canada. So where can I get these mailing labels printed?

Also speed post through Canada post is OK? or better to send it through Fedex.

You should send in the mailing labels but if you don't it won't impact the application. I sent my application in through express post and it took 5 days instead of 2 ( I got a full refund though). From what i've read other companies like UPS and FedX take 1-2 days. If you can afford it go for UPS or Fedex

Thank you! Staples prints labels in an hours time after you place the order online. I called them to make sure thats printed quickly.
Ok I have been using Fedex, so better I go with them.

Im going to send my application in tomorrow! So nervous/excited. I'll probably spend all night making sure all the T's are crossed and the I's are dotted, then I'm heading right down to the Fed Ex office in the morning!

I applied last week.. tracked package reached sydney on Mar 1.

spreadsheet can be created from google docs.. some1 needs to create 1 and share the link.. m too lazy

Hi,
Two things -
1. Follow checklist 10
2. Go through the NOC code 0631's responsibilities? (copied from NOC2011 pdf)

Restaurant and food service managers perform
some or all of the following duties:
 Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the
operations of a restaurant, bar, cafeteria or other
food or beverage service
 Determine type of services to be offered and
implement operational procedures
 Recruit staff and oversee staff training
 Set staff work schedules and monitor staff
performance
 Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify
procedures and prices
 Resolve customer complaints and ensure health
and safety regulations are followed
 Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food
and other supplies
 Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering
or use of facilities for banquets or receptions.

Make sure you dont copy exactly the same above
