I believe you mean Credit Card by CC. In my case they dispatched my application on 21st March and I received a week later, but still I have not received any refund on my credit card.
I do not understand why it takes so long for credit card refund when they have determined that I should be refunded on 21st March itself.

Hey desi2012,

FYI,
I am sharing my exp. In my returned letter they mentioned that your fees are returned not REFUND. So I call them up, the guy said your fees are not being refunded but you gotta use the same receipt. So my advise would be call them up and find out. They might not have refunded but returned.

I had sent via xpress post after confirming that CP will not ask for signature, so I sent it to the regular post address.
But I could see the signature after delivery, don't know whether CP went wrong or I went wrong.

I have used purolator which is affordable and secure. Would not trust Canada post for this kind of important mater. ???

I sent it by Canada post registered mail and it got there in 4 days...

Hey guys, i'm a march applicant... I was just wondering, if/when we do receive the AOR what does it actually mean? i know it means they've received our application and they've opened the envelope, but is it a confirmation that all the required documents are there and that the forms have been filled out correctly? Or is there still a chance that the application can be sent back because of missing documentation.

I want to know if when I get it I can breathe a small sigh of relief or not haha.

Yes it a confirmation that all the required documents are there. Except PCC, which is required but can be sent later on also

At high level the forms have been filled out correctly. But they would do detail level check while processing e.g. whether the job desc matches with NOC code would be checked later on

I just got a email today from CIC that i been approved to sponsor my husband and that all his papers has been sent to Cairo office :)

February applicants are finishing to get their AORs.
Next is us! Good luck to everyone!! :D

I think many of us couldn't send 2012 NOAs including me.
Are you guys planning to send it after AOR?
I need to send additional docs, so I am thinking of attaching NOA.
What do you think?

Thanks for the information. I will have to follow up because I have paid the fees twice.

Hello March Applicants,

Just wondering if there has been any activity with regards to your application (CC charged/AOR received)?
I see that Ottawa007 is the only applicant with CC charged so far.

Cheers!

Hey guys, so i've just thought of something that is beginning to worry me. On the section of the application that says "Immigration Office Requested for Processing" I think I left blank or said N/A. I didn't leave it blank out of negligence, I remember there was a reason I left it blank but now I cannot remember specifically why...

Anyway, I said that I was applying from within Canada but for reasons I won't go into I am currently in the UK. I was planning on returning to the UK while my application was processing, but not until later in the year. So I did in fact put my UK mailing address on the application.

Do you think the application will get sent back? Or do you think it's better that I left it blank? Should I fax them or send an email clarifying any confusion that might occur?
