I'm good, yourself?! Manila's under strike. But there's work being done there despite it. I'm saving up all the worrying, anxiety and stress when everyone with the same timeline as mine are getting their PPRs and Visas. hahaha. Been working hard as a dog so when he's finally here, I'll go get some time off from work. Lol.

Hello there,
I have couple of doubts regd organizing my spousal VISA docs. I am planning to apply soon.

1. Are you guys arranging the application as per checklist order or separating according to Sponsor and Sponsored person's doc.

2. It says we have to provide 6 photos as per immigrations requirement, are you guys putting a date at the back of the photos or just the stamp from the photo lab.

Thanks for your help

Hello

Regarding the photos and how many they must be that's according to region specific instructions. Our region wants 8. NO there is no need to sign them Read the instructions on the photo specific and you will see that it is not requiring to have them stamped. DON'T (unless specifically instructed)

What we did with our apps was that we separated Sponsors apps and supporting docs in one envelope and Applicant's apps and supporting Docs in the other and placed both envelopes in a larger one.
We placed our Main Checklist in the Sponsor's side because this is the one they in CIC-M will be working first and I made a personal typed checklist that I placed in the individual envelopes describing the contents as they will appear.
Made sure also to place the barcoded pages on the very top of each folder (right below the checklist)

Regards ...

PS. Refrain of making multiple copies of your message to various threads. You must learn patience my friend as this is a charisma here. When you have a query that is of a general nature like above try to enter it in the main Family Sponsorship thread. And when you enter one wait until someone answers. Other wise I wish you the best of luck and a very quick process!

Hi Asephil,

I've been watching this forum almost every day, sigh. I read a little here and there, and try to imagine the pile that is in growing smaller...my VO is Ottawa, and I'm seeing people that began the application process in January beginning to get PPR's so I'm hopeful that I'm not very far away from that stage....I hope....

Hello,

I see that too. It was kinda quick at the beginning but then it really slowed down since May. The only person that got visa and ppr was fakejordan but he is a special case. There are couple of spreadsheets for ottawa. CPP ottawa and now I see the March one here. Everyone that applied in March has not PPR yet so I'm really hoping we all hear something soon. Good luck everyone :-)

Hi everyone!

My e-cas has changed from "Application received" to "in process". It gives me at least joy to see this changes since the Nairobi office is not as fast as you can think but i know am half way through the process, hopeful! Best luck to all and congrats to all that have got visas this week.

Cheers/
