My understanding is that if they don't receive the passport within the specified time, as a matter of procedural fairness they need to send you a second notice before they can reject you. So if you do receive PPR while you are away and you know that you will not return before the PPR deadline they've given you, you should notify them when you will return (do it by email, so you have a record in writing), and also know that they won't reject you if you miss the first deadline. So don't worry, go on vacation, and check your email frequently (and make sure someone at home can check your mail frequently in case PPR comes by regular mail).

A two-month vacation sounds nice...

What worries me most of all is that they type in my email address wrong. saw a LOT of posts in the forum that they kept missending the emails to wrong email addresses and the people aren't able to receive the notification.

This is what had happened to our SA. we never received an email/snail mail for our SA. we had to CALL to confirm their decision when our ecas changed to "Decision Made" under SA Status. we've requested twice already for them to resend the email/snail mail but its been 2 months and still nothing. :

would it be ok to contact them around the time that my co-march applicants start receiving their ppr and i dont...? how do I contact CEM?

Q 11. are you recently living in Canada? My answer is Yes, then it asked for since when i am staying, so what shall i write, is it my recent entry to Canada which is July 7th, 2013. I went to India for marriage on Nov 2102 which is 7 months apart.

or my first entry to Canada which was 2007.

Please help...i m getting ready to apply on aug...

A1: Total years which in your case is 18.

I am used to people applying outland and i tend to forget that inland SA takes a while.

I think I read a post from you that says so...if that is, I'm peruvian Latin force! hahaha... well, Im in Montréal, Quebec, file sent to Vegreville. Hubby and I just celebrate our 2 years marriage anniversary on monday 22th , a total of 4 years relationship, 3 of them living together.
Just for you to know, I call today to the center and they told me they will be sending AIP for march applicants around mid-october. Eventought we ALL kno that the call center is far from been thrustfull, let me tell you, this light a little hope in this long wait! (Cannot imagine how people that applied 2012 or 2011 feel if I feel this desperate!)
Hope this strike ends soon (eventhought I read this doesnt directly affects vegreville) but anyway, affects people like us applying around the world so..it has to end up soon!

SA meand sponsor approuval... For outland applications it takes around 30-45 days and is based on the evaluation of the sponsor.
This is the equivalent to AIP (approuval in principal) that happns only inland. Difference is that aip in inland takes around 6-8 months if you are lucky!
