As I belong to February 2013 thread I like to ask if here are one-two volunteers who would like to maintain and fill when necessary a spreadsheet so you guys can keep track of your applications progress.

Hi everyone! sana makahabol kami ng hubby ko sa mga March applicant, We didn't know na puwede na pala isama agad ang medical result sa mga application forms. Any idea kung ilang araw bago makuha ang sa medical, how much it will cost at saan po maganda magpamedical na malapit sa Pampanga?

Hi! Yes we just got married January 15, 2013 on my birthday ^_^ hmmm naku I heard it will take around 3 to 6 months for our NSO marriage certificate to be available does this mean isosoli sa amin yung application namin? wala kami kilala taga NSO eh... so bale hintayin na lang namin feedback tapos supply namin yung mga missing requirements like NSO marriage contract?..

Also... sa forms, ginamit ko na married name (for the spousal visa application) pero yung passport, NBI, and police clearance ko eh nasa maiden name ko pa -- will this be alright or will these cause some problems?...

sa inyo ba nag change muna kayo ng status (locally) before starting your visa application...?...

Hello there. I know Iay waited to send in the marriage certificate but I wanted to say that I did the opposite. I sent in a copy of the form we signed and attached a note stating I would send the original once I received it. I actually still have the original and I'm waiting to send it in because I also have to still do a Medical exam for my unaccompanying minor child who lives with her father 4 states away. She is coming up over Easter and I have an appt. the first week in April for her medicals to be complete. I used an attorney to complete all the papers and he told me I could take the risk and send it in with an explanation of why those papers weren't present and hope it doesn't delay or I could wait until April to submit the packet. I opted to mail it in and roll the dice. So far it is going okay. They processed our Sponsorship approval last Friday and my packet is just now being sent to the visa office. Our meds will be done and the marriage cert. and the results will be mailed within 2 weeks. Hopefully they will be just starting to process the packet at that time. Bottom line, we may get delayed because those papers are there but it shouldn't be a long delay but had we waited until the first week in April to apply we would be 2 1/2 months behind.

I'm not trying to influence your decision but just wanted to give you an alternative. It IS possible to send it in without the marriage certificate but make sure you explain why and be prepared to have a bit of a delay possibly.
