Hey guys,
I recently received my passport from Detroit. However, only one of the conformation of permanent residence paper has my picture attached to it (down at the botton). The other picture I found in the express envelope. Did anyone else have this experience? Is this correct??

I'm in BC and my Dr sent them by UPS Nov 2nd. The tracking number showed they arrived Nov 6th. My Ecas was updated between Nov 23rd and Nov 26th (I don't check it over the weekend - not quite that obsessiveW8ing123 said:

Well, the copy of my passport should be arriving in another day or so, according to the tracking number, and hopefully my visa is issued before my trip so I can land before the new year.

We should really not follow up on this any more. I have the exact opposite situation. My status was changed to Decision made but my tracking number has not been activated yet.

I am asking this question on behalf of a friend.
Base on your post, you are saying that valid work permit is a must during landing? What if while waiting for the PR application (already sent passport to Detroit), the work permit got expired? He will have a new work permit maybe around January. Can he do a landing when his new work permit arrive? Would there be a problem during landing since there is a gap that he has no valid work permit? What would you recommed?
Is is possible also to do landing when he get back home from home country? It means when he get his passport from Detroit he will go home and do landing when he enters Canada?
