Thank you ONAP for responding.

My only concern is that my email subject or body does not mention "Visa Ready". I read in some other thread that the security did not allow the applicant to enter the consulate since his email did not contain these words. I will call them tomorrow and I think I should also go to the Detroit consulate next week Tuesday just to see what happens.

At this stage, I am open to all suggestions. Please let me know. Thanks so much.

Hi Checken 76,

I am in the same situation but I am still waiting for the Medicals. I don't know what to do after the I receive the medicals.

But I contacted one of the eligible doctors and I was told that when doing the medicals and if your wife is pregnant, then there will be a checkbox on the medical form saying that wife is pregnant, and as a result, the x-ray will be postponed till after the delivery of the baby. Then you will need to submit the baby birth certificate along with the IMM family form and then your wife can do the X-Ray. CIC will put our files on hold until our wives complete the X-Rays.

Also, your file can't be processed for you only as your wife is a dependent on you and both your files will be processed together.

THANK YOU AK1737 !!!
Her due date is April 13th 2013 and our work visas will expire on May 19th. It will be very tight timewise but there is nothing we can do. We would love to immigrate as early as possible but we don't want to put any risk at our baby!! Please let me know how thing are going with your applicaiton. Once again, thank you for your response!! Cheers

No u dont need a US visa. Mine i got a call today from an immigration officer and she booked me for my landing on Dec. 11 at the local CIC office in Edmonton cause im from here. I dont need to go to the boarder, i dont wanna drive to the nearest boarder, i just wanna be safe especially the weather here in Edmonton and i know it's almost a month to land but i can wait. It's just 1 month, i waited for my application for almost 7 months, how much more for 1 month & at least i can save my money instead of driving to the nearest boarder. She told me to bring the ff: COPR, PASSPORT & WORK PERMIT ONLY. I asked her if do i have to bring an statement of account (that's what i heard from other people) but u know she laughed at me & she said NOOOOO! And i said to her cause u know my money in my account is only less that a thousand dollars. So, then i will wait till dec. 11 to be a PERMANENT RESIDENT in canada.

CIC officer called me yesterday and booked me for my landing on Dec. 11, which is not bad. I will land at the local CIC office.

Congrats to you PONGPONG!!

Ang bilis ng application mo!! ;)
