I couriered my application on Monday, 5 March. Canada Post reported the package as "received" on Thursday, 8 August.

Hi Friends,

Now I am preparing my CEC application. I just found your post, thanks to have a valuable discussion.
I have one confusion about Birth Certificate (Indian Citizen). Unfortunately I don't have it.
Is it applicable to submit Certificate of Date of Birth which I can get from Indian Consulate Toronto ?
Does CIC accept this certificate?
It would be great helpful if anyone from India can share his experience.

Hi Always.Asif...
I do not know the answer to this... but I think you should probably post as a new topic in the CEC forum. I think you will get a better response there. You need to find some people that have already completed an application, rather than people who are still waiting.
However - is it not possible to order your birth certificate from the government back home? I am from New Zealand, and that is what I did. I paid a small fee and they posted me my birth certificate from their files.

Just sent out my cec application march 13th, i just have 1 question.. do i have to include my elementary, highschool diplomas, and trancript of record from my university although im a college undergraduate, which was taken from my homecountry?? coz i never include any of these documents on my application

I had the same question but I sent all my certificates as I am not clear on new check list and point #11.

not sure whether they need our educational certificates as you are already here in Canada under WP which means we have necessary education done in back home

Question - did you submit police clearance certificate (RCMP - Canada) with your application or is it something that you will provide when requested?

Hello Senior,

I did not submit PCC from RCMP Canada as I am still satying in Canada but I have submited all other countries that includes my contry of citizen.

I hope that is not required and if required we can submit later based on new check list document.

i only submit my police certificate from my country and here in canada, but as far as i know they will request police certificates when ur paper is already on process
