I am currently here in Singapore. Actually nagtanong na ako sa COC about that. Wala ba kaung sinubmit na document? Singapore gov't ceased issuing Police Clearance to non-Singaporeans. They will give you a standard notice then they will ask you to go to an international lawyer residing in Singapore to do a statutory declaration. Mine was SGD100 for a single signature. I did two signing kase I changed my Surname nah to my husband' surname.You will attach the statutory declaration including the standard notice whch states the Singapore Police don't issue Police clearance sa mga foreigners. Include the email sent to you by an official officer. Sabi saken ng chief of Police na we send the Statutory declaration first. If CEM will accept it, walang problema... Yun ang ginawa ko muna...Sana namn tanggapin nila...Pray that to GOD tlaga. Pero sabi nila pag nde daw tatanggapin ng CEM, CEM will email you a request of appeal which includes the ID no. and the Name of the Immigration Officer handling your papers (its in the letter daw). You forward it to the COC Singapore. Once pinakita mo ang email sa Singapore, they will give you forms to fill out and they will appeal directly to CEM if approved by COC Singapore (This will take 10working days).if di daw maapprove yung first appeal, the processing period will extend another 3 weeks. I told them kase meh timeline ang CEM but they said that CEM should know the processing period kase they will check every document your husband sent to the gov't when he was still working here...Ganun kastrict ang process sa pagkuha ng Police clearance.I think during the three-week reappeal, they will ask you to go to the court ... (SANA NDE TAU UMABOT DUN).... yun lng talaga ang process Sis....wala ng iba...Then they will send the Police clearance directly to the immigration officer handling your case. Sigh....
