Yes, we hope so too haha.

Parker and I have almost the same exact timeline as well. Here's hoping me and you are next, buddy.

@ cgagnon- did your hubby have to take another photo for the passport? I'm not quite sure if I need to send photos again along with my passport since I included a couple of them when I filed my app.

Yes 2 small pictures like before...had trouble at the pharmacy they don't understand a thing...good thing i was there she was giving my husband passport pictures.

So e-cas showed DM this morning, relieving any final concerns I had about what was being sent back to me.

I received my COPR paperwork this afternoon around 1:30 pm (way to go FedEx overnight Saturday delivery) and completed the landing procedure at 5:17 pm.

LA actually sent a number of documents back to us, which surprised me. It would seem that CPP-O did send physical documents to LA...

Best wishes to everyone, those who have landed and those who are still patiently (or impatiently) waiting for the process.

Said it elsewhere, but again, CONGRATULATIONS! Computergeek!! Glad your long and arduous journey is over! Now stick around so we can benefit from your expertise! Maybe you should become an immigration consultant! You know what they say, there's a silver lining in every cloud, maybe this'd be yours! :D

Funny, my sister told me that's what I should do. I told her I'd help out other people, but for free. I don't need to be paid for this and not many people can afford it after paying over a grand for immigration!

Hopefully we can have more cases finalized this month. Hope all are done by Xmas. Looking fwd to good news from Paris soon.
I really hope it does not drag out to the full 8 months processing.
Have submitted all we had, waiting for someone to make a final decision is frustrating at times....
1 month has passed since "in process" at stage 2.
How long do the background checks normally take for spouses?

Do they ask for more photos at PPR time? We submitted 9 photos with the application already back in March.
That's a lot of photos though, wonder why they need so many.

LA asked for two additional photos for the COPR - they glued one to each of the two COPRs.

My wife submitted a change of address in mid-September, received an email earlier this week indicating they'd received it, and as of this morning the new address is reflected in her Ecas status. The email from CPP-O also indicated her application was "...in progress". Unfortunately, Ecas still only reads "Application Received", not "In Process". We'd both hoped to see that change when the address was updated. Not sure if "In Process" and "...it is currently in progress" are the same thing. Sure hope so.

Just looked at the March spreadsheet, it appears that 6 "Buffalo" applicants are either "In Process", have had a PPR request, with one having landed (Computergeek). There are 8 who, as yet, are still at the "Application Received" stage. Some of the latter, though, don't appear to be on the boards much, so perhaps some of them could've received PPRs and simply haven't said so here.

Anyway, all that to say, C'MON MARCH!! :)

Very true! I'm thinking the ones who aren't as active anymore, probably would have some in process or PPR.

Also, I'm now helping cgagnon with the March spreadsheet, as I have no life and I'm on here all the time ;) :P
