Finally got my sponsorship decision in the mail, 2 weeks after it was sent out (the 27th)! Got my roommate to open it since I'm in the US with my husband. APPROVED!!! Gone to the Los Angeles processing center for his PR application! We are so excited, off to dinner to celebrate Now I just hope our medical paperwork makes its way there since we had it sent to Buffalo back in March...

Great that means I must receive mine soon a s it was sent on the 27 th as well. Where was yours delivered? In Canada or outside of Canada?

ITS OFFICIAL !!!!!!

finally got the approval letter from cic-m stating my file is transferred to cpc ottawa
thank you canada post. just took a week from Mississauga to my agent's address

hoping ottawa will open my application soon and make a decision soon too ;D

I am thinking of both the email and the letter never mentioned my UCI. always have to log in with my hubby's uci
i guess I have to wait till i land in there to get my UCI
is it normal though? ? ? :-\

simb...if you are the applicant your log in is the application #; if you are the sponsor your log in is the uci#.....and congrats......!!!!

simb...if you are the applicant your log in is the application #; if you are the sponsor your log in is the uci#.....and congrats......!!!!

I am the applicant
and I have tried using the application which starts from F
but nothing comes up
nevermind. i still can look up in ecas. doesnt matter if its with my husband's uci. I can thats what matters..(especially with cic)lol

Alright. So I think my file is actually going to LA...

I got an e-mail FROM LA telling me to mail the form, MAIL as in snail mail, it to the LA office.

Okie dokie. I guess I gotta do that ASAP *grumble*

That's what I figured, but I was unsure why they want the missing form to go to LA instead of Ottawa since apparently that's where files will stay ??? I'm so confused by all of this LOL

Ohhh I hope so haha. IMM 5406 is what was missing. I discovered there was a fax number, immediately faxed it to them and will mail it too. Since LA time right now (6:49 EST) is almost 4pm so they'd still be working. Hopefully they will get it, read it and be like okay great PPR! HAHA prob not though lol. I'm positive, but also cautious haha.

Either 4pm or 5pm, depends on the office. I sent it around 3pm their time (6pm my time). I'm so anxious. I just applied for several things (government wise) and I'm just a ball of anxiety with immigration and other government stuff going on aaaahhh!

Would love some vodka LOL
