There is no Winnipeg. It is Mississauga, ON since you are in Vienna

I have read in other posts that as long as when they start processing your file your PCC is valid that it shouldn't matter. Now if they do need another one they will probably request this. In another post they we given an extension on the PCC so that they could be given more time to land. Again every case is different. Hope this helps!

Extension on the PCC is given from CIC or the agency / city authority who issues the PCC?

Hi! I sent my application end of Feb! Did anyone confirm with the CIC of the application was recieved? I wanna know if it was recieved.. Since its taking soooo long for them to approve sponsership I just wanna make sure they have actually recieved it :(

You can only know if and when they received it by traveling it with your courier or post office.

Once they've approved your applicant then the VO will issue an extension if needed

FK22-you should have gotten a tracking # when you mailed your application and you can track it through Canada Post to see if they received your application and on what day they received it. Check your receipt, your tracking # should be on there. Hope that helps!

Anyone else going crazy with waiting? ???

I was crazy well before any of this...so no.

The key is to try and keep busy with other things...and if you don't have anything to keep you busy, ie work etc...invent stuff...

Ooh invent stuff eh? Strangely I just watched that Simpsons episode where Homer wants to be like Edison hmmm...

Literally...invent stuff... :P

I know how you feel and I am probably feeling the same way. I'm trying to keep myself busy by exercising and setting goals (like going to Hong Kong for a weekend + other stuff like that...). For me I think the key is to have stuff to look forward to in the short term...keep setting goals or things you will do every couple of months...then you can at least have something to look forward to so that you are distracted from thinking about the waiting time for the PR visa to be issued.

Reading is also very beneficial. Get yourself some decent novels and dive in...anything that will distract you...

Hey there, yes the waiting is the hardest part......but like fencesitter said, I try not to dwell on it but somedays you just can't help it, especially knowing now that we are sooooo close, This is our month.....come on Mississauga work some magic for us all.
