Yesss I did.. I just wanted to get caught up on the new posts before I posted mine..

I got my approval today!!!

So I set all the numbers into my phone and called non stop from 8 - 8:30 .. I think I called 20 times and each time they just hung up the call .. I am shocked by this system they have of disconnecting the call after u spend all that time dialing all the prompts... anyways I called one last time right before I arrived at work and got through.. I had to hold for about 10 minutes.. I told the girl I was calling since I hadn't heard anything further and the website stated April 2nd.. the woman was in shock and said the last she heard it was February 29th then she put me on hold and told me she would need to confirm that.. I was like ohh great this is going well if they don't even know what day they are working on...

Lol anyways she came back and said they send a letter in the mail for me dated July 3rd and that I was approved!! I was sooooooooooooooooooooo happy!!

I asked her how they will send my application to Mexico she said “diplomatic mail” which is some sort of government mail? She said Mexico would start the application at the beginning of august and that the embassy would be contacting my husband going forward..

yippee......so happy for you!!!!! ;D ;D

That's great!! I was calling at the exact same time.. lol and it took me a half an hour until I could at least be on hold. I found out I was approved July 3 as well. That's interesting they told you Mexico would start the app in August! That's good news!! I paid a little over $1000 I think. I paid the sponsorship fee, the application fee... and then the final fee that is optional in the beginning.

Hey Simb,

you should definitely call - as you are passed the date they put on the website, so they should be able to know what is going on with your file...

Congrats to the march approvals, I'm glad to see that almost everybody is done, and I'm hoping they really start on April now! :-)

Hello again.

Thanks for the votes of confidence. I will contact my family in Canada and have them call. Maybe set up a conference call.

I did try Skype, and I do have a Canadian account, but it would not go through! Surprised me too.

Hope that the letter is just in the mail..........

Thanks again.

And congrats to those who heard!
