Yes they ask me to resubmit updated pcc and background declaration along with medical .

naveed bhai mubarak ho, it's really great news. now quickly do your meds and then wait for the PPR. It looks like many people are asked to submit the new background declaration. I think the form changed from Schedule 1 to Schedule A. They asked me for the new Schedule A background decl form.

Thanks brother. okay brother how much did u pay dmp for the medical examination. And Secondly what do u think how many months we have to wait for the ppr .

I am also another March 2011 applicant with the slowest VO (Buffalo). Current status is received by visa office since May 2011. My address is also missing from Ecas since January 27, 2012. I don't know when buffalo visa office will wake up and start processing our applications.

Write a letter to consulate general of canada buffalo case processing centre. Do mention your file number in your letter.
Your address is there on Ecas or missing?

Congrats Naveed!!!! You are heading towards the goal now, go ahead with your medicals it cost me 1700 AED including the courier charges from Dubai, if you are in Dubai it will cost you the same, we are three involved in the Medical.. You can call them in advance for an appointment and they will give you an estimate about the price... All the best brother

naveed bhai...i am currently in India so I did our meds here. It cost me about INR 10000/- for three of us. It varies hugely depending on where you do it. For instance, INR 10,000/- is roughly just 742 UAE dirhams. But you see, it cost Jacky AED 1700/-. INR 10000/- was for three of us, so if Jacky paid 1700 AED for two or three, still it is huge. But if he paid that price for just one person, then imagine the rip off. The other day, I bought a nice shirt here in India for Rs. 800/-, but if I were to buy that in New Zealand, it would easily cost me at least NZ$ 40/- which is about 1700/- in Indian rupee. So that's the theory.

Our VO London being among the slowest, I think we shouldn't expect PPR at least 45-60 days after the meds are sent to the VO. Some thing very interesting that I have noticed among the time lines of our March applicants is that New Delhi issues PPR along with the MR, which means you can send the passport along with your meds and landing fee which would save you a hell in terms of waiting for PPR. So, the point here is a ND applicant would most probably receive the visas before a London applicant would even get the PPR in a scenario where they complete their meds at the same time. Frankly, I still feel lucky compared to others who have applied through even slower VOs like Buffallo, Singapore and so on. Let's hope all marchians have their visas at least by June this year (15 months from their application).
