Hi
I am not in my best shape!!
Yesterday I received a letter from VO it says "you do not meet the requirements for immigration to Canada". It is dated on May 17, 2011 and continues: "please submit evidence of sufficient funds... for the past six months. Do not submit property deeds and valuations" (which I did) "Be informed that you are being granted 30 days from the date of this letter.
The drama is that I have to notarized, translate and send those documents before tomorrow so I can be in time. I have been running from the bank, to the notary office and begging the translator to do it super fast. I think I will be able to send everything tomorrow.
Regards
Deby

Hi Deby,

Relax and do the things explained very well by other members, email CHC for possible delay, best courier with premium service and provide notorized documents, bank statment and fixed deposit etc....... My prays are with you. I know you have the capabilities to complete the paper work with in time frame.

hey April, I think dubaiite is right too, because if you have had NER you would see on your status "decision made" or somthing..BUT eCas is saying CIO-ER complete, so it means they didn't reject you and there is no final decision...I think NER is something like decision that you wont be able to complain about...

No, they don't send anything. You see your RBVO status at your e-cas.

Thank you Thalia, for your prompt help. What about AOR by the VO? Will it be email or regular mail?

WOW that is really close to the deadline. They should have at least emailed you as well. But anyways I think that you still have time. As soon as you send via courier, email the VO with Tracking number etc. And also telling them that you received letter on 10th of June.

You are welcome liherb

First of all I don't know if Hong Kong VO even issues AORs. How come there are no other Hong Kong applicants on the spreadsheet to compare? Pity....
And even if they do, I can't answer you for sure, cause if I remember correctly many applicants got it through e-mail and some through mail. But what I think is that you shouldn't even care about the AOR that much. After your VO receives your application the next most important thing is to get "in process". This is when you are in the core of your immigration process, meaning they will start dealing with your app, do the background/security checks, request PCCs and other additional documents if needed, and ask for medicals.

Past two days have been really long. Today we managed to took the package to the courier company and they are supose to deliver it on Monday. We are confident that the notarized copies of the account statements will satisfy the immigrant officer. But, I have to admit that we didn't expect this incident and we know now that some other unpleasant surprises can be present in our journey.
Thank you very much for your advices (we followed them all), prayers (please continue) and good wishes!!!
We will let you know the next chapter of our soap opera.

Our best wishes to every one.

That's great deby. Hope no more surprises from now on! You were fast! LOL
All the best.

Deby, we are sure your efforts won't go wanted. U will get your good news soon

Friends, I have a situation here, my Wife is a PA and she received a new job offer and she will be joining in new job in 2 weeks, Currently our application is in RBVO status. I am planning to send a Cover Letter, New offer letter and Old job's experience letter to VO any other suggestions, good practice? Your suggestions are welcome!

My current e-cas status is 'RBVO'
Yesterday, I got a letter from my VO mentioning that it received my applications from CIO and also new file no. has been issued.

I guess it's the 2nd AOR. Am I right?

The letter also mentioned that a final assessment shall be done by VO whether or not the application is eligible for further processing.
So would VO decision be based on re-assessment of my all submissions at CIO (except PCC & MR) or it'll come I'll submit PCC, MR?
