March 2011 applicants

Hi Guys,

I need your valuable comments. I did not send one out of my two PCCs from UK with my application as it was delayed in post. I received it 10 days after sending my application.

My UK PCC is dated 23rd of March and it will be three months old on the 22nd of June. My PER date is 28th of April but my e-cas status is still CIO ER Complete. And I do not think it will change to RBVO or whatever in next 4-5 weeks. I thought before if I hear anything from London VO then I will send my PCC without their request. But looks like I won't be hearing anything from London VO before 20th of June.
I do not want to waste my PCC and do not want another 120 days delay when they will request my PCC.

So what do you guys suggest. It is clear that still I have to send them PCC at later stage, but what do you say, specially;

Wicky Send it after your VO asks for it, They will definitely ask for a PCC at a later stage. It is betterfor you to apply for a new one but do it after your 2nd AOR. So that till the time your file is in process you will receive it in hand. PCC requires time and if you feel u can arrange for it instantly then let your VO ask for it then arrange it. PCC are valid for a period of 6 months.

Hi seniors..I need your help..CIC received my application on march 09, 2011. It's almost 3 months already and I still haven't received any email from CIO. I am really worried now because all of the march applicant they already received their PER within 1 month. The IELTS that I submitted was ACADEMIC.. Is this the reason why I am not receiving email? Will CIC deny my application or they will return my documents/application? please help..Thank you

ur application will b considered incomplete I think its on the way,I m sorry to say that.As my 1st application was incomplete there was a option of incompleteness general ielts/academic ielts.academic will b considered as incomplete.if u r too much lucky they will ask u for new ielts bt its depend on luck

Im sure your 2nd AOR is on d way.Wait till your VO ask for it. Always have it ready for sending, to avoid delays.

@wicky it will take more time as ur vo is london.when ur status will change into in process or when u will get 2nd AOR u start ur procedure of collecting pcc.otherwise ur 2nd pcc will b also wasted.

Thanks casayed..but we also need to keep in mind that Singapore VO is the slowest among all VOs as also confirmed by other applicants in the past.

I agree with casayed...they will really think of it as incomplete...i suggest that you better take IELTS now in General training if ur applying under FSW since you still have time...at least you have ur IELTS ready once u receive back your documents...the good thing is IELTS is now valid for two years. We'l just hope that your NOC will still be on the list once CIC will release their new Guidelines.

Hi Macking: I am sorry but it clearly states that IELTS MUST BE GENERAL for FSW applications. They will not accept ACADEMIC. Some people had emails (last Fall) advising them to get General IELTS done and once they supplied their marks their application continued. I don't know if they are still giving second chances to supply a General or not. You may want to send a query to CIO giving as much ID detail as you can about your application and ask them if this is a problem. Have you done a search in the box, top right corner on the forum page for IELTS and see what others have to say? All the best.

May be you can ask a query on your application about its status in CIC and ask if you could just send your New Ilets GT result...just a guess.but its may be worth trying than just simply waiting... right?

I feel I underwent the same situation as you are now...I sent my first application that was received around Nov. 2010 beginning, got rejected due to some reason>>>>got the application doc. back around Feb.>>>> re-applied in the beginning of March>>>it got PER and my current e-cas status is 'RBVO'

So don't give up, strike back with full vigor and pave your way.
No doubt, my all attempts had full guidance, support of all well wishers at this great forum.
