E-Cas only mentions about the medicals results being received.....it is mostly assumed that the medicals are accepted as normally after that line is added people do get their visas stamped....although there have been cases of re-meds even after that line is added....but such cases are rare.....as far as RPRF....it is only by the issuing bank that the applicant can verify whether the DD has been encashed or not....the VO will never indicate that through E-CAS or Email.

Hi bro : did u get tracking number for ur medical from ur dmp. Ask ur dmp where did he send ur medical london or new delhi.

i checked the tracking number DHL and it says delivered to London CHC 30th jan. Really confused now. Anyway I think I can't do a lot more in this case and have to wait for at least 3 mnths from the delivery date before I can make an enquiry.

Applied in March 2011 - Still No Response after Initial letter

Hello Friends,

I applied in March 2011 for PR. I received a letter stating that they have received the application and done the initial review and they cashed the DD. After that, I have not heard or received any kind of communication from them. When I see the timelines of people in this post, most of those who applied in March 2011 has received there MR request or have completed Medicals.

Is there something for me to worry as I have not heard anything for now almost a year. What kind of step I can take in this situation. Any kind of Inputs/help is greatly appriciated.

Don't worry....you got 100s of fellows in your group (including me, struck at RBVO since June 2011) and waiting for the next to happen.

Rest, it was sad to know that since MI3 group (be mindful that we are MI2 group) follows the latest requirements of Canadian job mkt., it has been put on priority over MI1 & MI2....this was an unreasonable reply from S'pore VO & shared as a post on another thread.

I can find similarity in the time that you and I applied for permanent residency and NOC code 3113 but my visa office is London as I choose to apply to London visa office instead of New Delhi because I am residing in Saudi Arabia now since more than a year. But my application status is still showing received by visa office. Can you tell me you applied on your own or with help of an immigration agent?

Also did you send the original marksheets and experience initially when you applied to CIC Novascotia or you sent the original marksheet and experience certificates at a later date to your visa office in your case new delhi. I didnt sent original marksheets and experience certificate initially to CIC, Novascotia but when I realised they had to be sent with your original application I sent it to my visa office in July because by then I had received my file number from CIC and they said all further correspondence should be directed to visa office(in my case london)

Do you think it is because of delay in my sending the document that has caused delay in my case?

Hello Taniya,
Please give more details like your visa office and the country where you applied from since there is a lot of variation in processing of applications from different visa offices like New Delhi in India id processing applications really fast compared to London, UK visa office may be because of more work handled by London office.

Even my case is the same like you I also applied March 2011 for PR. I received a letter stating that they have received the application and done the initial review and they cashed the DD. But you can check the application status on cic.gc.ca I will detail the procedure how to check ecas
1. Go to cic.gc.ca
2. Click english
3. Go to I need to check application status on right side top of your screen
4. Client application status will open
5. Click continue
6. Security screen will open
7. Tick I have read understood and agree with above terms and conditions
8. Click continue
9. Client application status will open
10. Fill in your detais and continue
11. You can see status of your application
