Hi colleagues,

hope that i can get help from cases with similar status like this or well-informed applicants,as;

i applied on March 2007 from London office from Kuwait, was asked for update on March 2009 which was sent on MAY 2009,all requested documents- but SINCE then i received nothind ;no medical request my status online is not even in-process,
Is that normal?
Why is there such a long delay?

4 to 5 years are normal for a person from middle east applying with CHC London.

but isn't it too long since z update last May and no medical request till now-nearly 7 months?

Hello Eman,

I am also in Kuwait , 2007 applicant . I sent my updates in April 2009 , till now i have no

medical request or any other communication came to me.

I think INSHALLAH starting from the mid of next January 2010 the medical request will start to come.

Just be patient

in fact i am very patient but i hope it is just waiting,not that anything is wrong!

your cases is a little stranger , coz there is a new rule for north africa and meadle east cauntries , its not anymore taking a longtime to have an answer especialy in first step , otherwise 3 to 4 years is not normal anymore ...
i am applying also for a CSQ quebec starting decembre /2008
i gote already before 3 month now the acceptation ( CSQ CERTIFICATE )
i think you should send a message to the office where you applying first time

sorry, my case is different i applied federal & on May 2007 before the new fast system
i did sent an inquiry to the office in London ,but unfortunately no reply

I think it will take from 12-24 months to get any call as i am in the same waiting line with now over 18 months for file in progress.

My two cents Eman, don't throw your hard earned money to lawyer. Applying for Canada is very easy and have no complication. You'll get plenty of help on this forum for any of your question.

The only concern is that CHC London is a bit slow and may take longer than you expect. The advertisement may attract you to lawyer so that you immediately apply through them but in reality the process takes its own time and not ideally fall within 8-12 months period.

but afraid of a slow down this month due to Christmas holidays & celebrations
