If any one wants to approach Maplefly... pls note down the below points before proceeding.

don't pay pre assessment fee.
ask for list of documents to be submitted. ( very important)
ask for some reference who got job already.
don't sign the agreement just like that.

they simply say, these are all confidential and they will not share any details , and asked you to pay money first. if you proceed without knowing above information then you will be fool & you will not get your money back . then it is your call.

Or just ditch them all together and do the whole process yourself. Trust in your capabilities and results shall be positive. If you can read and write English, this forum will clear all your doubts. Just ask!!!

I have paid Rs. 48.5k just like that without checking their background. In my case I was asked to pay the money first and then only I was shared agreement for sign and then I was shared list of documents.

I have provided all required documents except one document i.e Job description and salary details on company letter head for my all previous employment. When I checked up with my previous employer they refused to provide this document.

Hence I asked them to share the employer details who is asking for this particular document but they never shared the employer details stating that it is confidential. Then I asked to share few reference who already got job through maplefly but they never shared it till now.

As there is no transparency in their process, I have asked for refund of my 100% money but no response at all. So pls be careful before proceeding.

I saw your posting and was intrigued by that.
First of all, find out if they are attached to a regulated Immigration practitioner.
second the problem you have stated about inability to access the required reference letter is not such a big problem that it will cause problems for you.
if you search through this forum you will find a lot of people whose employers in India or abroad refused to provide reference letters and they were able to prove their case by alternative means. do you file taxes? then the employer details will be in tax papers. did you receive a job confirmation letter then that basically says what was the job title. Have you contacted the Human resources department of the company you were working with? what can they provide you? ask them nicely about your situation and what paperwork can they provide you. Contact your old boss and ask him if he will be able to write a description of your job duties.
48.5 Laks is a lot of money, did you pay it by cheque? do you have receipt of it?

when you ask them for references of people who got job through them I dont think that would work if they are a legitimate company as they may be bound by privacy rules of Canada.
as far as requesting employer details is concerned I seriously doubt that they have an employer lined up as unless you have a job offer there is no employer-employee relation.

The requirement of asking for previous job description and salary details is for applying for permanent residency and are required by Citizenship and Immigration Canada not by the employer.

if a document is required then it is required, If you are unable to provide it then you try to prove it by alternative means such as letters from co-workers e.t.c.

look for a second advise from somebody who is a regulated Immigration professional such as the lawyer who owns this site and see what options are available for you.
Don't just accept defeat at the first sign of trouble.

look at the problem from a different perspective and chances are you will succeed, there is nothing called "Jugaad" that will work in Canada.

Similar case for me..

Global immigration consultancy have collected pre-assessment fee from me, they said they are going to arrange an interview with canadian employer. They clearly said its an interview. After getting money, they send a mail, detailing pass mark(67 points) and told me to pay 48K to register with express entry program. I didn't pay 48K. They cheated me and didn't returned my pre-assessment fee either.

This triggered me and i have done registering express-entry program myself.

Please don't pay anyone. Just calculate your points yourself. If you find fit, register it yourself (Get the transcript from college and write IELTS exam, thats it) cool.. 8)

How many times will you post that you paid 48.5K. This forum won't help in getting your money back but help in case ur wanting to do the process yourself

If you have receipt or bill, etc. You can file a case on them

I am posting this message again and again so that people should aware before approaching them & not to loose money like me. Do you know how many people called me after my post. reference to my post i saved more than 50 people so far and i will keep doing this.
