Friends,

Thanks for your wishes!

On my PPR, there were two options to submit my passport (along with my dependents).

1) By mail
2) In-person - Mon Thru Friday 8:30 AM to 12:00 Noon

I chose option 2 and drove to Detroit on THursday and reached Friday morning. After refreshing, I Went to the Rennaisance center at 8:45 AM and on the counter to your left, there was a lady who greeted me and asked me what I have come for?

I said her that I am here to submit my passports for me and my family for permanent residence and she asked me all the documents. She also checked if I pad my RPRF already. After that she asked me to wait until the immigration officer takes a look at the case.

Around 9:40 AM, I was called to the counter and was told that the passports will be ready around 10 AM and I can collect it around that time.

I was so ecstatic and waited until 10 AM to collect the passports...

Then came the Immigration officer who returned our original documents and maple leaf stamped passports....

That was my whole experience ...........

Good Luck alll!!

Dude, Question for you. Did all your dependents (family members) come with you to Detroit to collect the visa or was it just you with their passports as well?

congratulation good luck for your new life in canada ;D

MCBoy,

I carried all the passports with the PPR letter, photos, filled document at the end of PPR, RPRF receipts. Dependents are not needed to get visa stamping.

Kummy
